Lighthouse Central Florida is here to stabilize that sense of crisis and work with you to restore hope. Teen Services Navigating the angst-fueled social dynamics of the teenage years can be a harrowing ordeal. Adding the element of vision loss can complicate things even more. The Transition for Teens program at Lighthouse serves as a structured outlet for young people between the ages of 14-22 who are seeking to understand their place in a world designed for sighted adults. Adult Services When an individual loses their vision later in life, coming to terms with their new reality is often times difficult to accept. Feelings of denial, anger, anxiety and even depression are all common reactions to vision loss. Lighthouse is here to serve as a sanctuary of sorts.
